THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

At Bangkok Maritime, We take complete responsibility of sourcing and screening of the right candidate based on the respective requirements. Our services encompasses the complete recruitment process, i.e from accepting and understanding client requisition, finding the right candidate through extensive use of job sites, effective use of internal database, company web site advertisements in the leading newspapers across the country, campus recruitments and job fairs if required by our Principal.


Further, we do the fit gap analysis for each of the potential candidate, speak to the right candidate and evaluate them on the behavioural aspects, the contract terms and other intricate details of the requirement. Once scrutinized the candidate will be presented before our Principal for an personal interview, web cam interviews or telephone interviews as desired by the Principal. As the last step, we will conduct reference check, background check, document verification for all selected candidates. We also use the Marlins English Testing tool to check the level of conversation English of the potential candidate.


The Post selection process includes the necessary pre-employment medical through company approved medical centres, police clearance, visa counselling and training. We maintain personal file for all approved and hired candidates, which contains copies of all their documents and contract details for future reference and verification.


Recruitment Procedures

To begin with, the employer and the Bangkok Maritime should execute an agency agreement between them stating adequately the terms and conditions regarding demand and supply of manpower from Europe,  Singapore, Gulf , Asia etc. This agreement should be signed by both the parties towards acceptance of stated terms and conditions upon which the manpower trade will be executed.


Employers Part:

Demand Letter

The employer /Principal will formally issue a demand letter in favor of Bangkok Maritime stating the job categories , number of workers required in each category , monthly salary , duration of contract and other amenities for workers such as food , medical , transport , air passage , accommodation etc


Letter of Authority

Concerned Embassy in Europe, Singapore, Gulf,Asia etc.


Agreement of Employment

This is a standard employment contract between employer and employee.


Agents Part:

Selection

We always prefer selection of applicant either by oral or practical test to be conducted by the employer or his authorized representative. We arrange his /their accommodation, transport and all other logistic support required for the purpose. In case we are entrusted with the selection & testing of worker, we normally do it with the help of a team of experts for technical & professional categories under direct supervision of our professional executives.


Medical Checkup

After final selection we send the workers/ candidates for medical checkup by the authorized medical center of the respective Embassies of the country of employment.


Application for visa

For selected candidates, we will apply for the visa in the respective embassy as authorized by the employer.


Ticketing and Emigration

The employer may send PTA or remit necessary travelling expenses in favor of Bangkok Maritime to facilitate travelling as scheduled. We obtain emigration clearance from the concerned Govt. Dept. for the candidates.


Orientation before departure?

Bangkok Maritime Inc provides basic orientation to workers before travelling abroad. The workers are informed about their duties and responsibilities while abroad and firsthand information of work environment there & salient features of labour laws of the country of employment.
